DJ Premier Interview In France
I can’t hold you peeps back from this video man, this is too crazy. This shit right here should be recorded in the studio. Nick Javas rocking on a Pete Rock beat, Pete Rock rocking on a Premo beat. WTF.
Pete Rock will produce a track for Nick Javas upcoming album. And Gang Starr Foundation is preparing to make a Guru tribute track. H. Stax already did one over the “Eulogy” beat, you can check that out on the latest LiveFromHQ.
Props goes to Biggest Gord from LiveFromHQ Blog.

The winners are known of the contest we did this week with Redefinition Records and Damu the Fudgemunk! It took a couple days before the right tracks were given (some were very close) but now the wait is over. I had a lot of fun organizing the first DJ Premier Blog contest! A big big up to Redefinition Records for keeping it real, giving the fans what they deserve. A lot of respect to them. Damu’s music is inspiring.
The winner who won the prize without naming the tracknames that were used is:
canzoski from USA.
The winner who named all the tracknames that were used is:
ty-kitty from Denmark.
Both of them should check their inbox for the mail, they can expect their vinyl soon.
If you want to know check you out and the rest of the answers, click here.
Thanks to everybody who tried!! Up to the next one hehe.

– How It Should Sound Vol. 2 (LP)
– Bonus Prize: Y Society – Travel At Your Own Pace (Instrumentals) (LP)

The winner does not need to list all of the songs but if he or she does, we can give a bonus prize to that person. NOTE: Please give out a valid email address. Also, only one entry per IP address. ALSO NOTE: Your comments will be hold back until the right answer is given. So you can later check if you were wrong or not on time, everything is correctly hold back. Here is the question:
How many DJ Premier produced songs were used for scratches on Y Society’s debut LP, Travel At Your Own Pace?
I warn you, there’s a tricky one! Test your Premo skills right now.
Up for grabs: a bunch of records produced by Damu (of Y Society) including his latest album How It Should Sound V1&2. Support this man who always give his best to pleasure our ears:

The Game talks some respectful words for DJ Premier. And believe me, he isn’t lying, he really wants Premo. He even holla at me with his phone number to get that joint finished before R.E.D. I forwarded it to Preems managers if you wonder.
These are the tracks that made the 90s that excellent. Enjoy!
