Wow, their seems be a lot of misunderstanding around the new LP of M.O.P. lately. Funny, because it keeps reaching higher and higher… Yesterday I got the official DJ Premier mixed song of “What I Wanna B” that contains scratches that didn’t made the album. The tracklist of “The Foundation” is fucked up, Termanology needed to delay his shit with Lil Fame due to earlier release, Premo couldn’t finish all his tracks with M.O.P. due to the same problem and now this… Read it yourself in this personal mail from Rahaman Kilpatrick:

Back in September 2008, MOP, Joe Buddens, Termanology and Big Shugg came down to Sonar in B’more and me and my peeps go to the show. I pass out beat cd’s to Term, Joe and during MOP’s show I give it to Laze E Laze’s son who’s the hype man. Now, fast forward to September 2009 and I’m listening to MOP’s Foundation album on my way home from work and when track #9 “Rude Bastard” comes on….it’s MY FUCKING BEAT! Not the same sample, the SAME BEAT! Drum programming, sample, chops…the whole damn beat! Then my man Mills does the knowledge for me to see who got credit for the track on the album and it says “produced by Fizzy Womack”! So…I don’t get a check, I don’t get credit…I don’t even get co production credit! And I’m not looking for no “feel sorry for me” or none of that hoopla…I’m just asking for cats to let ANYONE who ya’ll know who loves hip hop to know who did the track so I can @ least get credit from my peers (hip hop fans and other producer’s grinding out there)for the beat. I’ve been grinding @ this beat thing for YEARS and for my first placement for a major artist to be a jack move…it just ain’t right…but it is what it is…like I said do me this justice and @ least let the hip hop heads ya’ll know that the bol Kil from Philly gave MOP THAT heat…not no fucking Fizzy Womack…

Me personally believe every word of it, but what should I think about it? I think it’s besides the Premo bootlegs one of the lowest shit I’ve seen, reminding me of Puff Daddy. Give credit where credit is due is like a law for me, that’s why I’m posting this. If you don’t give a shit, ok. Lets move to the next post… If you are a beat maker you should try to think in his situation. What would you do haha, spread it! Shame on you Fizzy, shame on you! Hope you read this… You must be stupid thinking this wouldn’t come out lol…

Its true I didn’t do the beat “Rude Bastards” as Kil said….I heard it, it was hot and I rhymed on it…I’d never steal a beat, that’s not me…and the quote on the net is not from me I’m looking into who made that statement as me

Laze (M.O.P’s manager) was handling the credits, I gave him the info for who did the beat.

I just saw the finished artwork and my 1st comment was, “I didn’t do that beat why does it say I did”? (Ref. To “rude bastard”)

Then I’m also asking like Lil Fame who the hell wrote that reaction on my blog? I even had emails from Brownsvillians who threated me via the other side of the world. If Lil Fame and M.O.P. wanted Kil on the credits why didn’t he got any call from them, I mean if you produce a track you should hear a preview? I think the reaction is kinda lame in my point of view. There is basically nothing changed, it’s jacked, straight up and down. I won’t allow any more reactions because the place for discussion is moved, this is the place: okayplayer.com! And on that note, I miss Teflon.

On the last Live From HQ were Punchlyne and Fokis guests, and they made a little time for a freestyle. Rhyming over the NYGz “Policy” instrumental they get it in. Also Panchi did a classic line! A special threat for everybody:

It was a busy DJ Premier weekend so there was a buncha said on the show. Read this, there was supposed to be two more Preem joints on the new M.O.P. album. The reason they didn’t got on the album was because of the deadlines. M.O.P. went on tour and KOCH Records (who fucked up the tracklist) had their deadline. Very bad, because it was the banging shit. “What I Wanna Be” was a beat that Lil Fame really want to spit on so Premo gave him the green light, but it was original a beat Preem made in 2006 when J-Dilla died. He wanted to remember J-Dilla on his own way by making a beat that sounded like him. We all know that banging shit needs to come out, just for sake of Hip-Hop. Now a funny thing, DJ Premier said that the next NYGz album -that is changed to a different title, I think it was “Hustlers Union“- is supposed to be finished at the end of september. Also his dream to work with Busta Rhymes could come out, they got in touch for that.

Now an even more funny note is that Premo designed a sneaker! He designed an Air Force One sneaker for a campaign together with DJ AM (R.I.P.). I like to wear Air Force One’s so I’m excited. Not that excited like the collectors, but pretty excited… That’s all folks!!

The problem is that the tracklist on “The Foundation” is wrong. The label fucked that up. Too bad it’s only one song, but this is what we were all waiting for so enjoy:

Deams is coming with an EP, and every real hip hop head will know it!! Now as I look to the poll I see a lot of people are between 20-25 years so I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t know Deams immediately. But most of you don’t need the introduction like always hehe. Deams is the first international artist of the Gang Starr Foundation, born and raised in The Netherlands he released a single with his friend Allstar Fresh (who is a very famous DJ over here).

Later he moved to New York city and become Netherlands first MCs in the New York hip hop scene, lived in the same house as DJ Premier, Guru and Jeru the Damaja when they were all making their debut… He got into Zulu Nation thanks to Afrika Bambaata himself and in the Gang Starr Foundation where he got one single, produced by Guru. The single is still considered as an underground classic, the 12inch is still growing in price! For those who wanna know why we didn’t heard more about Deams at that time was because he had to move back to The Netherlands due to difficulties with his green card.

Now more then ten years later Deams is finally having his debut EP “The Legacy“, you could say he almost did the same struggle as Percee P in a way. The EP has featurings like Jeru the Damaja, Big Daddy Kane, Ice-T, De La Soul and even more. He even got a beat by DJ Premier for his intro, who can say he has a intro by Premo with Preems voice and scratches on it? Man, this shit is going to be crazy. Specially for Europe! Support this shit, if you are going to buy the new Jay-Z album then you need to cop this album too haha. Judge yourself! THE LEGACY EP COMING 09-09-09!! SUPPORT!!

Some shitty DJ has released this DJ Premier produced track which isn’t finished yet just to get a rep, made lame. The track itself is too crazy, it could be one of Premo’s hottest tracks this year… Only too bad it’s getting leaked that way, just don’t support that shit. Wiggers are everywere, this DJ should just stayed at kiddy rap… What is the fucking point of yelling ‘Southern Smoke’ all the time, you think we’re deaf or something? Is it a swag? What about Eastern Smoke, is that more dangerous? I specially hate it when their mixtape covers are so photoshop money bitches bling bling insanity, that isn’t the way to get money, stay real. I know what I want, that is some Dutch smoke.

It’s labeled as a Bun B track on the track list, but I think it’s a new track from Royce Da 5’9″ upcoming album “Street Hop“? We don’t know if Bun B is making a new album, but we do know Royce have a couple of more tracks with Preem that aren’t released yet! As I said before, lets wait for a proper release by a legit man!

So DJ Premier is on the new Slaughterhouse album! With a phone skit!! Finally we can now wait on the new Royce da 5’9″ with three new Premo bangers…

What do we have here? It’s the first official joint by Nick Javas on Year Round Records and produced by the one and only DJ Premier, no joke! And it’s not just a random hip hop track, it has a different concept thought by Nick Javas where he is trying to impress Preem with his lines. After every part Premo reacts with his scratches where Nick Javas reacts again! I assure you’re not going to forget this track so fast. And it feels so right that Preem tracks are getting leaked on the right blog hehe. “Destination Unkown” is coming, not soon, but coming with DJ Premier, Marco Polo, Statik Selektah and probably more… Enjoy!!

When 50 Cent rejected the beat Preem gave it to NYGz for their upcoming album. Now we have the full version of the track and it’s fiiiiiiiire. Lol, you could use 50 cent part and add it on the track, then you have NYGz featuring 50 Cent, yeaaaaaaaaah!! I should do PR. And do you remember me saying it would be dope to have a track with the full Year Round Records roster (I wroted it in the comments)?
